Welcome to Santander Pilot! Participation in this pilot program is voluntary. If you choose to take part, you will have the opportunity to explore the design and features of our new app in its early stages. Your input and feedback are invaluable in assisting us to enhance the app for your benefit.

By downloading the app, you are consenting to be part of the Santander Pilot program. Please note that this app is a work in progress, thus not all features may be accessible at this stage. You can seamlessly continue using the current Santander Mobile Banking app; therefore, we recommend keeping it installed. Throughout the pilot phase, we will be introducing additional features and improvements. In this version, you will have access to:

• Choose image themes and customize your preferred name for the welcome screen
• View text in your preferred size within the app
• Experience the new payments hub designed for ease of payments and transfers
• Activate discreet mode by double-tapping the Santander logo within the app
• Provide feedback at any time through the 'Help us improve' option in the side menu

The app utilizes essential cookies to ensure its functionality (e.g., storing customized user preferences). Additionally, non-essential cookies (e.g., from analytics tools like Google or Adobe Analytics) may also be employed.

• You can use the Santander Mobile Banking app alongside Santander Pilot during this trial period
• While this is a pilot, please note that transactions conducted are real and live
• A smartphone with a minimum operating system of Android 8 is required to participate
• If you wish to opt-out of the pilot program, you can delete the pilot app
• Accessibility features may not all be available initially during the pilot; they will be progressively added over the upcoming months
• New payees could take up to 24 hours to appear in Mobile Banking app

It is crucial to remember:

• Avoid sharing One Time Passcodes (OTPs) with anyone, including Santander employees
• Never download software or allow remote access to your devices following unsolicited calls
• Avoid entering Online Banking credentials after clicking links from emails or messages

Your existing Personal ID (PID) and Security Number are required. To retrieve your PID, type 'Forgotten Personal ID' in 'Chat with Sandi' within the current Mobile app. For your security number, visit www.santander.co.uk, click 'log on,' and select 'forgotten details?'

When submitting feedback, refrain from sharing personal information such as passwords, account details, contact information, or security data. Utilize the 'Help us improve' menu in-app to provide feedback.

Santander Pilot is incompatible with rooted devices.

Upon installing Santander Pilot, you may be prompted to grant access permissions for information or device features. These permissions are necessary for specific features within the app to function correctly. The names of permissions are owned by Android, and they are solely used by Santander to enhance your user experience. A list of these permissions can be found in your phone's Applications Manager or by visiting Google Play under 'Installed apps.'
